STRESS is a normal feeling, it is a reaction of the body even if it is not demanding. It can be positive when it alerts us to danger or a deadline, but if it is not kept under control it can cause serious health problems such as high blood pressure, stomachaches, headaches, anxiety, depression and insomnia. Adopting healthy habits such as good nutrition, physical exercise, complementary relaxation techniques and meditation that help us maintain a more positive attitude.


CONNECT WITH YOUR WELL-BEING

Relaxation allows the individual to reach a higher level of calm by reducing the level of stress and anger that exists

various methods :

  • Yoga is a practice of Indian origin and consists of combining postures or movements that help relaxation, along with breathing and meditation.

  • Taichi originates from China and is a series of soft movement exercises of low impact. It is safe for people of all ages.

  • Biofeedback teaches how to control some functions of your body such as your heart rate and certain muscles.

MEDITATION TO RELIEVE STRESS


This practice can give you calm, peace and balance, and benefit your emotional health as well as your general health, and it eliminates the flow of confusing thoughts that may be occupying your mind with worrying and causing stress. Meditation can be done anywhere, it is one of the practices considered complementary medicine that can be beneficial to both physical and emotional well-being. If it is true that meditation does not replace medical treatments, it is a general term to achieve the same goal, balance and inner peace with other techniques.

Some kinds of meditation:


  • Mantra this type of meditation consists of repeating a soothing word or phrase in silence to avoid distracting thoughts.

  • Guided by this method of meditation you form mental images of places or situations that relax you.

  • Qi gong this practice combines relaxation, meditation, breathing and physical exercises to restore balance.

  • Transcendental meditation is a simple technique in which you silently repeat a specific mantra that you are given can be a sound, word or phrase.

  • Full consciousness is based on awareness of the here and now and a perception and acceptance of living in the present.



POSITIVE THOUGHTS


It' s clear that people committed to positive thinking enjoy better health both physically and emotionally and that does not mean that unpleasant situations are ignored but it does allow us to see them in another perspective. Having positive thoughts, accompanied by exercise, and a healthy diet is a key and effective part of stress management and allows the ability to better cope with situations in difficult times.
